The clear course of action was surgery, albeit fraught with potential risks. There was a chance Keta might need a feeding tube, suffer vision loss, or end up with facial deformities—outcomes that worried her rescuers about her adoption prospects.
Before proceeding, veterinarians thoroughly evaluated Keta’s condition and devised a strategic plan. Throughout her examination, Keta seemed aware of the efforts to help her, showing her appreciation through soft purrs.
Skillfully handled by Dr. Tomas Ingernuso, the surgery succeeded without complications, entirely removing the tumor.
Today, Keta is a joyful kitty on her path to recovery. Her skin is slowly adjusting back to normal, and she’s able to eat independently—a much simpler task now that the cumbersome tumor is gone.
