Witnessing the aftermath of a distressing event, I could not help but feel heartbroken. A dog, hit by a car, lay helpless on the road while the driver who caused the accident drove away without a second glance.
To make matters worse, other passing motorists paid no attention to the dog’s plight, ignoring the suffering animal.
Despite being gravely injured and unconscious, the dog demonstrated an impressive determination to survive. I was deeply moved by his resilience and the urgent need to get him help.
We rushed him to a local veterinarian, aware that any delay could be critical. It was difficult to imagine enduring such a tragic incident, but I believed that with determination, even the most desperate situations could improve.

The dog arrived at the clinic suffering from a traumatic brain injury. Though he was unresponsive, his eyes showed signs of life—he had a gulp reflex but remained unconscious.
The veterinarian informed us that his chances of survival were as uncertain as a coin toss, a mere 50/50.
In an encouraging turn of events, today the dog opened his eyes. Although he, unfortunately, could not stand, his condition was getting better, giving us hope.

We felt a renewed mission to aid him in his recovery, especially as he began eating well, to the delight of the veterinary team.
Yesterday marked a significant milestone—he stood on four legs for the first time since the accident. Like any other dog, he enjoyed affection and was gradually relearning how to walk.

The dedicated effort of the veterinarians was clearly making a difference, and the progress he was making gave everyone involved a sense of optimism.
The road to recovery continues as he remains under the clinic’s care. Updates will follow as this brave dog works tirelessly towards regaining his strength and finding joy once more.
