From Neglect to Nurture: Resilient Pit Bull Hero Finds Love and a New Home

Published on

Earlier this year, a puppy in dire need of care was discovered on a farm in central Georgia. Without access to food, shelter, or protection, the small dog had been left outside for four years, enduring harsh weather conditions.

As a pit bull, he should have weighed at least 20kg, but he was alarmingly undernourished at just 11kg and covered in bruises.

The situation came to light when an anonymous tip prompted the local Cordele Animal Shelter to investigate.
