We acted swiftly to bring the dog to the “In Good Hands” clinic located on Novy Cheryomushki Street, where it was greeted with kindness and compassion.
Despite being in pain, the dog’s strong appetite showed both its hunger and its determination to survive.
The diagnosis was devastating: the dog had a spinal fracture and severe spondylolisthesis, conditions that made it unable to walk. These challenges were further complicated by its considerable weight of 50 kilograms.

Nearby, there was an older dog facing severe kidney failure and multiple tumors, carrying visible signs of long-term suffering.
With care and awareness of their pain and limitations, we tended to their needs, gently bathing them. We named the dog Eric, and he found comfort in the warmth of his room, enjoying sunny mornings that brought back memories of happier times.
Eric’s recovery journey was both long and demanding, involving numerous injections and careful monitoring.

Despite the slow progress, there was a hopeful sign: his hind legs started to show improvement, providing a glimmer of hope amidst the challenges.
Though the future remains uncertain, we take solace in having rescued Eric from a life of despair, offering him a chance at a pain-free existence.
As we continue to track his progress, we remain hopeful for a brighter future, filled with healing and renewal.
