Last week, Pawtcake received a desperate message on WhatsApp about a dog in need of urgent help. The animal was found in dire condition, tied up with a long cable around its neck and suffering from a large tumor.
Understandably frightened and timid, the dog had taken shelter behind a panel in an abandoned building.
The rescuers approached the situation with care, using food to gently persuade the dog to come out from its hiding place. Their efforts paid off as they safely captured the hungry and anxious dog with the help of a secure trap.
Once in their care, the dog was provided with much-needed nourishment, which helped calm its fears. The next big step was the successful removal of the tumor.
This operation was met with joy and relief from the rescue team, who cherished the opportunity to witness the dog’s remarkable recovery. It was a heartening reminder of the significant impact their dedicated efforts had in saving innocent lives.
