Emaciated and desperately scavenging through garbage for food, the sight of her suffering was enough to move anyone to tears.
It’s unfathomable why someone would abandon her in such a state. Despite her frailty, Lisa managed to follow her rescuer up a hill, but her weakness made walking nearly impossible.
The decision to carry her to a vehicle was immediate, as tears streamed down her rescuer’s face. The mystery remains as to why no one sought help for Lisa sooner, leaving us with only the haunting thought of her prolonged suffering.
Lisa was found in a severely malnourished state, nothing but skin and bones, indicating long-term starvation. She was immediately taken to a veterinary clinic, where professionals worked swiftly to provide the urgent care she needed.
Her red blood cells were at dangerously low levels, raising the potential need for a transfusion. Additionally, Lisa was diagnosed with early-stage TVT cancer, and she was battling both parasites and fungal infections.
Astonishingly, she is only a year old, yet has endured more hardship than many do in a lifetime.
Currently, efforts are underway to save Lisa and give her the chance at a life she deserves, free from neglect and filled with care.
